SETUP GUIDE

QuickQ setup guide

From downloading the client through the official channel to signing in and establishing an encrypted connection — every step explained, with platform notes and troubleshooting suggestions.

Quick answer: Setting up QuickQ takes four steps: install the client from the official download page, sign in with your membership account, keep the smart recommendation as your location choice, and press connect. The whole flow takes about 2 minutes, and new users can start on the free trial.

The complete setup flow

01

Download the official client

Select the version matching your system and download through the official page only. The installer is small and finishes within minutes — avoid third-party mirror files.

02

Sign in to your account

Launch QuickQ and sign in with your membership account. If you forget the password, use the recovery option on the sign-in screen. New users can begin with the free trial.

03

Choose a connection mode

The smart recommendation works well by default; you can also pick a country or region manually. Smart routing splits traffic as needed, and privacy mode encrypts everything — choose per scenario.

04

Establish the connection

Press connect. Once the status shows connected, your traffic is encrypted and ready. Enabling launch-at-startup keeps you protected automatically after booting.

Installation notes per platform

Windows

Run the installer and follow the wizard; when Windows asks about network adapter changes, choose Allow. The QuickQ icon appears on your desktop after installation.

macOS

Drag QuickQ into Applications to install. If macOS blocks the first launch, go to System Settings › Privacy & Security, click Open Anyway, and allow the VPN configuration.

iPhone / iPad

After installing the app, the first connection request asks to add a VPN profile — tap Allow and confirm with your device passcode.

Android

Grant the VPN permission when the system dialog appears after launching the client. On some models, confirm the VPN state under Settings › Connections.

Troubleshooting connection issues

Connected, but some sites won't load?

Switch to another location first. If that doesn't help, clear the browser cache or try a different browser — some sites apply regional policies, and a different node usually resolves it.

Can't sign in?

Double-check your credentials and confirm your local network works. Also verify that your membership is still active and the client is up to date.

Speed below expectations?

Prefer the smart-recommended locations, and avoid camping on a single node at peak hours — smart routing will pick steadier paths automatically.

Connection timing out?

Toggle between smart routing and privacy mode, then restart the client and your device. Also check your system clock, since an inaccurate clock can block secure connections.

Still not solved?

Work through the sequence: change location → check the system clock → check network permissions. If the issue persists, consult the FAQ or contact support.
